Blueberries and Cottage Cheese Smoothie

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 mangoes
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 8 ounces low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons golden flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes

    In a blender, mix the blueberries, pomegranate juice, mango, cottage cheese, maple syrup, flaxseeds, and ice.

    Serve immediately. 

    Be Aware that I added about 1/4 cup pitted cherries that I had leftover and it turned out fantastic. That is reflected in the picture above.
